✨ Returns, Exchanges & Replacements

Returns

Most new, unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price, minus shipping.

Items must be returned in their original condition with all packaging. Items that are damaged due to improper return packaging or have been altered will not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds are typically issued within 14 business days after the return is received.


Exchanges

On a limited basis, eligible items may be exchanged for another of equal value, based on available inventory.

Because each Josephine™ hook is uniquely crafted, variations in color and pattern are natural and not always considered grounds for exchange.


Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that does not match your order, please reach out so we can make it right.

A return label will be provided when applicable, and a replacement will be sent once the item has been returned.


Replacements

If your item arrives damaged or breaks during normal use, it may be eligible for a one-time replacement within 1 year of purchase, with proof and photo verification.

Damage caused by misuse or external factors is not eligible.

Limited designs may be replaced with a comparable item or refunded if unavailable.

Enjoy complimentary standard shipping on all U.S. orders of $100 or more.

This is automatically applied at checkout and applies to standard ground shipping. If you select an upgraded shipping method, the difference will be calculated at checkout.

Select items may be excluded from this offer.


Processing & Delivery

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2–4 business days for in-stock items. Processing begins the next business day after your order is placed. Orders submitted on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the following business day.

Processing times may vary during peak periods or based on order volume.

Once an order has entered processing, it cannot be modified or canceled.


Local Pickup

If you’re local, we’re happy to offer order pickup by arrangement. Simply reach out after placing your order, and we’ll coordinate a convenient time.


Delivery Issues

If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us so we can assist.

Orders returned due to incorrect addresses or failed delivery attempts may be eligible for a refund minus shipping.

If a package is believed to be lost, we will work with the carrier to initiate a claim after the appropriate waiting period.

✨ When are products available and how do I place an order?

Most Josephine™ products are available for purchase directly through our website, and we do our best to keep items in stock and ready to ship.

Because each hook is carefully crafted, production can take approximately 6–10 weeks from start to finish. For this reason, availability may vary depending on demand and current inventory.

From time to time, select releases may be offered as pre-orders prior to launch. When available, pre-orders typically open 1–2 weeks before a new color release and allow you to reserve your piece in advance.

While we work diligently to maintain consistent inventory, certain designs or limited releases may sell out and not be immediately restocked.

Gentle Cleaning

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that may affect the finish.

When carrying your hooks, use a pouch or the protective tube to prevent scratches or impact.

How are Josephine™ resin hooks made?

Each Josephine™ hook begins with a carefully prepared two-part resin, blended and poured into molds to form the foundation of the piece.

Once cured, every hook is individually shaped, refined, sanded, and polished by hand to achieve a smooth finish and precise performance.

Because of this process, no two hooks are ever exactly alike. Each one carries its own variation in color and pattern — much like a fingerprint.

This means the hook you receive will be uniquely yours. While photos reflect the overall design, natural variations are part of what makes each piece distinct.


How do Josephine™ hooks feel different to use?

If you’re transitioning from a traditional straight-handled hook, you may notice a short adjustment period as you become familiar with the shape and balance.

Your tension may feel slightly different at first — often more relaxed — as your hands adapt to the way the hook moves and rests during use.

Josephine™ hooks are crafted to feel lightweight, balanced, and steady in hand. Their smooth, polished surface allows yarn to glide cleanly through each stitch for a more consistent experience.

✨ How do Josephine™ gift cards work?

Josephine™ gift cards are delivered digitally after purchase and can be used toward any product available on our website.

Once your order is complete, you’ll receive an email containing your gift card and instructions on how to use it. Gift cards can be entered at checkout, and the balance will be applied to your order total.

If the purchase amount exceeds the gift card value, the remaining balance can be paid using another payment method. If a balance remains after use, it will stay available for future purchases.

Gift cards do not expire and are non-refundable.
